I just discovered this thread today. I ordered the 10-20mm on Monday, if I can beat the UPS man home this afternoon, will have it on my K-5 ASAP. Can't wait to try it out after seeing the great photos here.

Did a photoshoot with my brother and his car. Pulled out the old 10-20 for a few of the shots:

I finally got my lens on Friday, and I tried it out at Great Falls Park in Virginia. I'm quite pleased with its initial performance. Just need more time to get familiar with.

What do you people think of this photo? I was just walking at Sentosa when I saw this beautiful light coming from this passage then this father and son suddenly came to the scene. I'm not sure if I wanted to put this as part of my Flickr stream as I am quite bothered that I didn't got the whole shadow of the father particularly cutting the head part. Are you bothered that the head of the shadow was cut off?

Yes, this is taken with my Sigma 10-20. It has rarely been unmounted ever since I got it in February.

I think it's a really good shot, the cutting off of the shadow doesn't bother me at all.

I'll second Jonathan's comment, adding that the shadow adds to the "leading lines" effect. The missing shadow head isn't even really noticable (to me, YMMV).
