I only have two slots and the cpl ring holder on my setup (rather than 3 slots).
I noticed that if I focus at 1 metre then there is less chance of (or no) vignetting compared to focusing at distance say infinity or even 10m.
But I noticed also that if there is ever some vignetting and I use lens correction with the sigma 10 - 20 profile in Adobe Camera Raw, then it disappears as the corners with the vignette are pulled outside the frame. A fact that puzzles me since that seems to cause more distortion in the corners. But maybe the distortions are more even after the correction...
But yes, no vignetting in this shot. Happy riding and shooting Tamia.
Thanks for satisfying my curiosity, Falke. I hadn't fully appreciated the Lee filters -- didn't realize what they were till after I wrote. Looks like a very versatile setup and one that I'll be considering for myself.
I'm not familiar with Adobe Camera RAW, not owning that software, so can't comment on the disappearance of the vignetting when using the lens correction profile. My software is quite basic and if I get vignetting, I either crop it out or use the clone tool in GraphicConverter to "hide" it.
