Conceptual mini-project I came up with when I was photographing foliage from a park on the river, and saw a slide.

Since the 10-20 can distort perspective to make things look huge, I thought it might be cool to try and represent what a slide might look like in the mind of a child expected to climb so very high up for the first time. And when I saw that it looked pretty damned scary, I decided to HDR them up to look a bit more sinister. What do you guys think?

Excellent photo of a legacy Cast Iron Slide Narual Sir - captured for posterity. Good perspective too. Some side shots would have helped complete the picture story. Also the HDR effect is too strong, perhaps a little overdone.

While I'm not necessarily a great fan of HDR, this is a very well executed concept...great angles. Nice series!

Thanks, guys! The excessive HDR was intentional, but I'll see if I can get a similar "scary" feel without going so overboard on it. I pretty much just plopped it into NIK software's HDR Efex Pro 2 and put it somewhere between the "Sinister" and "Grandma's Attic" presets.

The HDR hurts my brain. Sorry but I think you completely lose your intention with the strong processing. My opinion only and I am no expert.
