oh, i was asking because i posted up a few examples of how it works in a thread here:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/6-pentax-dslr-discussion/275602-compositi...you-using.html

it is a useful tool and reduces the amount of pixel destruction needed in post.
NO, I didn't know about your thread on sensor shift, Mike. Thanks! I'm heading over there now to read what you had to say.

Wow! This is amazingly creative! Genius!

It makes me realize I'm just a mere mortal when it comes to photography. I'll second Tamia, that if ever there's a chance I'd be at your area (which is about 1%) I'd like to seriously enroll in one of your classes Mike. Even if it's just to see how you shoot these masterpieces.

thanks for saying that!
I will say that my students that night came away with something quite similar to my shot, so with a little instruction, this type of shot is not at all unreasonable.
Please look me up if you come to SF.

Awesome. Reflections in the water are eye catching. How did you get the star burst?
Is this a newer lens brother Kengoh?

Hi Mike, is this Lombard Street and Montclair Terrace looking up?
Google street view attached.
Looks like a daylight photo and to that extent the night time magic is lost.
Wonderful star burst. Was this using a star burst filter or??
Regards.

Thanks nanhi, I'm still using the same old Sigma 10-20 F4-5.6 lens.

At Bishan Park this evening.

yes, that is the spot - love that you found it on Google Earth, lol.
I'm sorry you feel it is too bright - I am ok with how it came out myself as i had more of a surreal concept in mind for the processing.
The starburst is just the normal performance of the lens without any filter.
regards!
Mike
