Taken with the K-S2. Also, in my other shots (not this one), I observed the foliage is better handled by the K-S2 compared when I used the lens with the K-30 and K-x. I used to hate using the Sigma lens when taking photos that have foliage.

Dear drivingback sir, this is a very pretty photo with an excellent fore ground and background. But there is a color cast to the entire photo. It is difficult to tell when looking at the sky or water, but look at the rocks. That color is weird.
Regards.

Your photos with the Sigma 10-20mm are so beautiful that I'm now tempted to buy that lens. Time to save first to buy....

it was the first lens I tried on the K-1 when it was delivered a couple days after it was released. I don't exactly remember performance, but I do remember there was heavy vignetting and I was very disappointed. I didn't want to have to buy a FF compatible UWA lens. If you look a few pages back, you can see some of Kengoh's images with the combo. He gives some explanation as well.

Hi CypherOz, I used the Sigma 10-20 at FF mode most of the time, though it has serious vignetting, it still gives higher resolution compared to APSC mode. At APSC mode, the resolution is 4800x3200, if you shoot at FF mode, after cropping+removal of dark corners, I can achieve up to 6000 pixels wide, much higher than APSC mode of 4800 pixels wide. Moreover, imagine 10mm on FF mode is like 6.67 mm APSC, this kind of wideness gives you some perspective you can never think of provided you shoot horizontally & vertically straight.
Here are some shots taken with this lens at FF mode.

#1 10mm FF mode

#2 12mm FF mode

#3 13mm FF mode

#4 10mm FF mode

#5 Pano stitch from 3 shots @10mm FF mode, if 10mm APSC, I'll definitely need more shots to stitch but I can't afford to waste precious time (30 sec each shot) during blue hour as the exposure changes very fast,

Nice, Ken.
My K-1 is a long way off, but I'll be happy with the 10-20 when I do get the K-1.

Thanks guys and sorry for replying late.

Shot with K1 FF mode, 7 shots merged and at the same time removed the vignetting.

Hi ken, wonderful shots as usual..
I'd have a question though: when you shoot it with the K-1, do you keep the hood on it so you know where the images will overlap for your stitched images ?

Thanks Weevil, sorry for late reply. My hood has broken when I dropped my camera + Sigma 10-20 while shooting sunset at a beach.Luckily the cam and the lens are fine, protected by the hood. Those firework shots are all single frame shots.

This one shot yesterday is a stitch of 5 shots.
