Some real great shots already posted.

I'm enjoying the Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6. Awesome lens at a good price. Wish I had bought it before last holidays... All these at 10mm end.

Cheers
Kevin

Some great shots! The 5th one I find awesome and the 6th one, with the Lupine in the foreground, is simply WOW!

Also very impressed with the second shot as well. I find it hard to shoot into the sun with this lens so I bought the matching Sigma 77mm C-PL. Hopefully that will help, otherwise I'll have to learn PP.

Yes, the second shot is great too. BTW, if you picked up a CPL to help with flare, forget it--if anything, the CPL will make the lens more prone to flare, even a good one. Is this what you meant by "I find it hard to shoot into the sun with this lens..."?

I don't have any samples, those were all thrown out. But when the sun happens to get into the shot, it ruins the picture. Not sure how else to describe it. I'll wait for another sunny day and post some samples.

Yes, if you meter for areas outside of the Sun, all the area around the Sun will have blown highlights--a white out. Graduated Neutral Density filters can really help out here. I look forward to your samples. We'll get you up & shooting into the Sun in no time.

Just ordered this lens after trying it out at a local shop. So excited as this is my first lens upgrade from the kit DAL. *anxious*

No.2 is one of my favorites with the 10-20 lens. As you say, shooting into the sun was not easy, and this did get a little help in PP. Low Dynamic Range enhancement within easyHDR. The cloud was very bright with the backlight sun, but enough to take the worst off the sun. I agree with Jellewtrail that C-PL filter would not be best here.

Not even sure if C-PL would work because light not bouncing in this case, and C-PL not always best on UWA because of differences in subject polarized intensity over field of view.

Thanks also Jellewtrail; Ecaterin; and jgredline for kind words on No.1.
