Trig - where do you even find these things to shoot? I love the subject matter! So unique and I love the use of HDR. No apologies required!

Thanks all. I sincerely appreciate the feedback.

I find these places by doing a lot of research and just trying to see things differently. HDR can help make the must mundane things look interesting.

I went out today for more HDR Urbex and decided to take the 10-20mm off and give it a break.

That lasted for about 10 minutes. This lens is just perfect for HDR. The detail of the lens, is simply amazing, even with 9 exposures used to get this one with the longest being 30 seconds.

This one is "Frankenstein's Switch"

Trig,

Your HDR images are something else. How do you do it? Photoshop?

Trig- quit messing around. Tutorial. Now. Please?

No really! Please? At least some ballpark settings to get folks started.

Your HDR shots have a "painterly" look without looking cartoonish as so many of them do. Incredibly well done.

Hi folks, haven't posted a picture here for a while, I'm too busy with ltds and my 10-20 is bit underused these days. Anyway, here is one group shot from the recent wedding I helped to photograph recently....

I don't want to stray too far from this fantastic thread dedicated to the mighty Sigma 10-20mm, but I use Photomatix Pro. Load my RAWs right into Photomatix and tone map the image that is usually from 5 exposures. I then tweak the tone mapped HDR with ACR and then PS. I have never used Topaz to LucisArt, yet.

Thanks man, but there are MANY MANY great HDR guys out there. I am only one a many and IMHO, there are others that are way better than mine.

So, to keep on lens topic, here is where I work at 10mm, ISO100, f/8.0 in the heat of this past July:

And deep in the bowels of work, also at 10mm @ ISO100, f/8.0:

This thread is chock-a-block filled with great images so it feels unfair not to comment on all of them but, Frank, the series on "old stuff" you posted here is simply amazing. That's an exhibition right there!

Of course the PP adds a lot but the success of the images starts with the compositions which are all very nice. Well done!

Westfield Shopping center

Hi all,
on Wednesday I came bit early to the work and I took the opportunity to have a little go at this modern shopping center with my 10-20. Here are few examples:

PS: I know this is double post as it's in "post your photos" too but that thread will be soon long gone and forgotten and since all shots are with 10-20 I think it's relevant I post them in this club too....

Nice series Peter. That mall looks like it was designed for viewing through a wide angle lens.
