Thanks for your kind words and encouragement, Jewelltrail. Love that old car, and I just noticed the "mascot" on the hood!

Franki, welcome to the forum... beautiful photos of impressive countryside. Is that near Bratislava?

Silverelantra, lovely photos from you, too. The sunset photo is stunning.

Frogfish, that cityscape is fabulous. The light is just right.

A few more which I've finally processed, from recent hikes in the woods...

Woodland Superhighway

Sand Fan

Splayed

Cliché but Pretty There was a snow flurry when I shot this, so the white specks are flakes.

Come now Mr Froggy, you really can't blame Bimjo for asking for a night shot of this great city panorama now can you? If he hadn't asked, I would have.

I'll bet there are many others out there looking forward to a night scene shot.

Hey Rusty Nails, did you use the Hyperfocal distance on any of those? They are sharp, contrasty, and with nice colors--what else can a lens do?

Anyway, here is another one I found with the Hyperfocal distance in use. F8, 10mm, 1/2 sec.

I have an excellent reason for not having taken it yet ..... that daytime shot was taken from the balcony of an expensive restaurant ...... so I need to save up before I go there again !

While riding the Wheel of Excellence (smaller version of London Eye) and shot through window. Just love the wide end perspective and colors of this lens.
