Damian: That's a cool shot and welcome to the Club.

Up the River: Excellent shots!

whats the difference of circular vs the linear polarizer vs nd filter?
Thanks.

Short answer: LP for Manual focus CP for auto focus. LP not too expensive, CP very expensive. LP do work better with Pentax AF than other makes. There is a lot about this @ our forum--search it out, tons of cool stuff to learn about AF systems and the interactions with polarizers.

Hi again
I like all the shots in this thread.
I have another photograph.
-- Blues for You --
What I like the most about this wide angle lens is the insane depth of field. Like mentioned above, this photo was take by putting the focal distance manually on the 1m marking @ f/8 setting with tripod.
For the small version on here I selectively sharpened the blue foreground rock. I should have done a better job at the transition line...

It has been great being part of this club and I am looking forward to more shots.
All the best, Frank

Beautiful shot Falke.
I especially like the symmetry that even extends into the cloud bank.

Hello everyone. My name is Paul and I have a LBA.

Last night my addiction took a hold of me once again and I purchased a 10-20mm lens and I am now anxiously awaiting it's arrival so I can share some photos with everyone. I've been cruising this forum for a long time now and have always wanted this particular lens and luckily someone posted one in the marketplace for the right price and I pounced on it.

Go wide or go home!

Thank you for you kind comments Jewelltrail, wildman and calicojack.

Here is another shot I am quite proud of. The original large version is even more impressive because you can see the Kangaroos on the right hand side in more detail:
10mm, f/11, ISO200, 1/80s, handheld -- Red Cliff Sunrise.

I've got a wall in my house that would be a great place to hang a BIG version.

No this is a Hoya ND8 solid filter.
The gradient on the image is from the post processing.

You won't be disappointed (at least I hope not).

It's my favorite lens, only disconcerting issue, is the barrel distortion at 10mm, as well as some vignetting, but I think that's the nature of the beast. I like it more with a circular polarizer, makes landscapes really pop.
