BEAUTIFUL images from everyone here. I love this lens and for months have been getting my fix by quietly visiting this thread whenever folks post. Now I've finally had a chance to get outside and do some shooting with mine.

I bought a 77mm ND 8 filter for my Sig 10-20. To darken the image more than the ND 8 allowed, I mounted a circular polarizer over the Sigma, then the ND filter, then a cheap linear polarizer. The cheapie gives a strange color cast, so I converted to monochrome. I have a lot to learn still about the shooting and the post-processing, but this technique is going to be fun. Here are some sample shots using the CPl, the ND, and the LPl:

Stepped Falls

Downstream on the Rocks

Divided Flow

And here are a couple with the CPl and the ND, but not the LPl...

Spring Runoff

Tributary

Last two are super. Great mood in both. An older one from me - one that I hadn't done anything with originally but just freshly seen on the hard drive and processed in LR3
Love the mood created here!

Sharing a photo from my Sigma and Pentax K-x. This is currently my "most interesting" photo according to flickr, though my photos have yet to be "Explored"...
Not really doing the lens any justice as I cropped a big chunk from the left side.

A man sleeps alongside his bike at the Marina Bay area with the Central Business District at the background. Sandwiched between Singapore's financial and tourism centers he lies at the concrete benches with nary a care in the world.

I was just walking along the area when I saw this bike and wanted to take a photograph of it then I saw that there was a man sleeping beside it. This is the first of 2 frames I took, with the second one he already woke up and ruin the long exposure. Good thing I was using the Sigma 10-20 so he did not suspect he was included in the frame. =)
Excellent!

Hey there Tamia--I haven't been in the ADKs since Foliage time of last year, so this is a real treat for me--thank you! I probably will not make it up there again until this coming foliage season, so PLEASE keep posting when you can. I've always loved your work! Best!

thanks so much, but it is quite easy to select a focal length when completely surrounded by cactus thorns.
