Great work Drivingback. I especially love "Shapeshifter" and "A Plain Morning". I think the latter would make a superb B&W - not that there's anything wrong with the colour version.
Thank you Adinfinitum! I was thinking the same way that it would be nice in B&W. But when I convert it, it seems not as good, but maybe that's because I'm not good with B&W conversion. I need to learn to properly convert to B&W. One thing I like about the colored version though is the coldness of the atmosphere that suits the long exposure I set for the waves and the solitary lamp post.

Thanks, living in the middle of a World Heritage site and being surrounded by national parks, rainforests and reefs certainly has it's advantages

Absolutely stunning images. They really have that extra-quality that shows the standard this lens/camera combo is capable of. Incidentally, what were the f stops for these? I'm still getting to know the nuances of this lens and there seems to be a real "sweet-spot" between too soft at one end, and diffraction at the other.

Thanks Adinfintum, I try not to shoot past F11 most times, with ND and Grad ND filters on sigma 10-20 the K5 IIs consistantly underexposing the shots and camera will not give correct exposure value in Av .I'm almost always having to shoot in manual with live view on , and make the adujtments to suite , histogram is really useful in this application to bring out the detail in shadow areas without clipping the detail in highlights , there's been some light work done in post to make these 3 x images really pop, curves layer adjustments , etc. The sigma 10-20 is a very capable lens and able to produce some stunning results.

disco_owner Sir, I have the older f4-5.6 EX DC version of this lens. I shoot mostly Av, center AF point and Spot Metering. I am able to coax out the correct exposure 70% of the time by placing the Spot Meter in the correct shadow areas. I always watch for the bright sky which is mostly the culprit if shooting between 10 and 16 mm. I will then use a Graduated ND Filter to tame the sky.
Fully Manual shooting is truly for the brave and the highly skilled. But for me it takes too much time and bother. So I resort to some automation.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

Can ye shoot them w/o the wagging tongue? They look so much more handsome. Excellent photo and use of perspective.
And you have a great Great Dane indeed.

Beautiful Harlequin. As a Long time Dane owner myself, there is never an issue with one not looking "Regal" [Sometimes Goofy ]. Problem on his right rear paw or just lighting?

Take care.

Took a trip at lunch to a park in downtown Greenville with my K5IIs and the Sigma 10-20. We had lots of rain yesterday so the falls are flowing well today.
