I rarely use this lens to shoot buildings and archetiture but this place is so special, the Shanghai Bund has dozens of historical buildings, lining the Huangpu River, that once housed numerous banks and trading houses from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Italy, Russia, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and Belgium, as well as the consulates of Russia and Britain, a newspaper, the Shanghai Club and the Masonic Club.

Nice sky shots! I actually got some of these with an 10-20 F4-5.6, but obviously quality wasn't as good.

What was your processing, noise reduction and settings on these?

I remember i had to tweak levels a lot before seeing any stars.

Thanks rrstuff. Most of the Milky Way shots were taken at F 4.0, iso 3200, 25 secs. Towards the end of the trip I shot two exactly the same except iso was only 1600 for one. I processed both the same, except bumped exposure +1 for the iso 1600 one and liked the result better. I use a lot of clarity and some local adjustments to get the stars like that.
