Now that is truly realistic, but is missing so much interseting detail from street level.

The HDR processing truly helps this situation.

Unfortunately I live with one 24/7. I have calibrated it and a replacement is on the cards, but I am still trying to word my reasoning to the budget officer in a way that grants permission. "My current monitor doesn't show colors correctly" apparently doesn't warrant an upgrade. In her books

OH my! Kengoh Sir, the Singaporean Chinaman weaving his magic with the Sigma 10-20. Hats off to you Sir for giving us these awesome shots.
I am certain Singapore being so tiny and so familiar, you can shoot with your eyes closed now - I mean not one eye, but both closed.
I once stayed with a royal family in Serangoon Street and enjoyed the ethnicity and uniqueness of that place. Do give us some shots from this place.
Good luck. Keep shooting.

OK, the 4th shot has me baffled! The one after the cathedral and before the rushing train. It has me thinking about being on the top of a flying saucer. Truly nice perspective distortion. What is it?

It took me a while to see what you see...but I do see the flying saucer aspect!
You're looking at two separate images.

Wonderful shot. When viewed in conjunction with the shot above it (thanks ERDS), My eye convinced my brain that I was looking down from above (hence the flying saucer). Now that I see it's a view upwards, I still love the perspective.
