Thanks Guys. Strange, but on my K10D and K20D it was always underexposing by about .7 to 1.0 EV and on the K100DS and K-7 it is pretty spot on. Oh well, the end result is what matters to me.
this is something that should be looked at with respect to the viewing screen. The one on the K10 and K20 is different, and for manual aperture lenses it (the viewing screen) did cause some problems that have been well reported.

Thanks for the responses guys. In general both the K10D and Both K20Ds underexpose by about .7EV, but I am used to it.

Back to the Sigma 10-20

This thread is outstanding! I especially love it since it started the day after I won the bid on ebay for my copy. With results like I'm seeing posted here, I'm really glad that this was my choice.

Examples with a CPL

Ok, I would say that 1/2 my shots with the Sigma 10-20 are with a CPL. These where some of the first I ever took with this lens.

My fav

Ever since I bought my Sigma 10-20mm one year ago, I loved it. I got a good copy with no problems, that helps! The lens takes sharp pics with superb micro-contrast low CA/PF and I believe because it goes to 10mm and when set to 11mm it has no distortion and from there up its MTF if as good as any, it is the best super-wide angle lens for the Pentax mount; at least as good as any but goes wider... It can match Pentax own from 12-20mm, but goes much wider and deserves credit for doing 10mm with very low distortion (only near the deep corners is there some) and by f5.6 its getting real sharp . I love super wide angle photography and have no desire for anything else.
