I have to agree with JHD... that is one jaw-dropping shot, Jay!
How many eyes do you have, exactly?

Out and about

This is has to be my favorite thread. The combination of the outstanding photographers who contribute , the interesting focal length and the outstanding lens always produce interesting shots.

I haven't contributed in a while so these should catch me up! A few shots from Maine...

Pedestrian, everyday, dull, desperately-needed-household-item shopping trip.
Take the bike for a little exercise, and the DA 15 for a little pause along the way...
simple, quick snaps - just makes it slightly more fun.

Suburban Boulevard

(Which of the above do you like better, and why?)

Absolutely excellent... That is one of the best pictures I've ever seen period!
Thanks, JHD - just one handed, put it down in front of him, tilt it up aiming at what I hope is his face area, snap. Easy with the little DA 15.

Sheesh Jay - do you EVER take a bad photo? I really don't know how you do it - turn everyday ordinary scenes into a photographic smorgasbord. Those shots are, as usual, outstanding, and I agree with JHD about the one he likes too.

The classic example of how it's not how much gear you have or what gear you have - you just MUST have the 'eye' and the brain to make it work like you do.

Brilliant stuff!
Thank you very much - and yes, I take tons and tons of bad photos, I'm sure my keeper ratio is no different than anyone else's. maybe I just shoot a lot

Do not foul this thread with talk of..... shudder, hold down vomit... The Yankees. Jeter is insufferable.

I'm really liking the way images shot with the 15mm stitch together - like a fisheye, but with way less distortion. This from three shots of the Colosseum:
OK, I need to learn how to do that (never tried it.) Another great stitch, thx!

A fun moment to be able to catch - the end of the US/UK World Cup game We just happened to walk into the cafe at that moment. The effect is part of a series of cafe interiors I'm doing, that's why the weirdness

Just wonderful photography, there, with the right snaphooting tool along for the ride. Good job Ecaterin, looking forward to seeing more from that series.

My first contribution to the thread, and YES I had succumbed to Jsherman magic! His pictures with this little lens are simply irresistible!

Taken at our little town annual classic auto shows.
