Leaving our favorite local restaurant I came across this scene. Had the 15 on the camera already...

Very nice!

DA 15mm limited

Indeed, it is the photographer and the light who make the picture. The lens is here to record it to the photographer's liking and the camera is here to provide the media and other technical means. Personally, I am not that much enamored by this lens. It is a good optic (or at least so it seems from the many samples on the net, this forum inclusive) but one cannot have everything. Recently I got myself FA 20/2.8 and although not as wide, I am quite happy about it. My DA 21 is now serving my daughter (it is smaller, lighter, etc, and she is only 8 years old). So, personally, I am happy.
Hello. What is the fair value to pay for a used DA 15mm limited lens.

You ought to use resources built into the forum. Adam has done a great job..... SMC Pentax-DA 15mm F4 ED AL Limited Reviews - DA Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

Maintenance work shut down the St. Johns Bridge here in Portland for a couple weeks...no traffic either direction from 9pm to 5am. This was of course a perfect opportunity to stand in the middle of what is usually a pretty busy road to capture the bridge from a different perspective. Shot the 15mm on a Pentax K5. 15 sec. @ f/11 ISO 100
well composed..

Backcountry, Southern Alps, NZ last Thursday after 30cm of fresh snow.

Of course, this is taken from the top of Mt Hutt ski resort, so no hiking was involved (sorry MattB123)

Admittedly, I am a bit lazy so I turned around and went for a blast down the corduroy instead, and then caught the chairlift back up.

I've been lazy - not really processing, posting, sharing much these last several weeks. Here is one from the beginning of August taken in the northern reaches of Algonquin Park.

Should have doubled up my last post but another from Kiosk - but this is in the evening - tripod mounted long exposure pointed generally West.

My first so-so contribution to this thread. It was raining and I didn't want to get the lens wet or get on the neighbor's lawn.
