Nice, love that convict lake shot!

Here's a less spectacular body of water but a great sky to reflect in it.

Japan has beautiful naturescapes and a reverence for the natural world is embedded pretty deeply in their culture which is wonderfully reflected in many of your temple photos ...so I take it that you are visiting Japan and not living there?
Yeah, I was visiting Japan.

I live in Singapore, a place where a good use of land is to build on it
Hell, even parks can't be left alone for more than a few years here and it has to be 'improved' on every now and then by building more facilities and pavements.....

Yes indeed! Half a world away.
You picked a quiet time. There's always been a bunch of people when I've been there.

I haven't had this lens out much lately and I don't have much to add to the dramatic shots posted over the past few pages. Here are a few shots from a small urban park in my neighbourhood.

...but surely taken with a fish-eye, or is the barrel distortion added in post-processing?

Great stuff Rondec....trying to figure out why I like the first shot best (although the 2nd shot is great.). I probably would have never taken that 1st shot but I still like it best?
