One more from the same session. I love this tree.

Edit to add: Sorry I have been dominating this thread, I'll take a break so someone else can post too!

Last night's sunset (alpenglow looking SE). My 10 year old son is now really into going out and shooting. He was the catalyst for last night's outing!

That's a pretty good reason to go and shoot. Some lovely results too.

I haven't shot anything lately with this Lens , so this morning I took it out of the Bag and threw the lee filters on ,the sky was pretty boring & Bland , no clouds , but managed to grab half a dozen keepers.

The first one and the last one are fantastic, Disco. Full credit to you as a photog but that lens really is a beauty.

Clouds are not always necessary...I like that 3rd shot quite a bit with those needle sharp rays, the second one has a nice calm look to it.

Thank you Ray , I kind of missed not shooting with this Lens since I acquired the Sigma 10-20 for Wider landscape shots.

thanks gda , oh yes , I concur that Clouds aren't always neccessarily a must have , I seem to have quite a few more keepers when there is Clouds around in the direction that I am shooting , specially in Sescapes/landscape.

Indeed that 3rd pic is just amazing, I love the sun rays and the reflections on the rocks
