I guess I could but it`s something I learned to do a long time ago and it`s more easy and more reliable. Like I said, infinity isn`t far away

Had to kill an hour before my allergist appointment this morning, so I went around town freezing my toes off with the 15mm ltd:

St. Patrick's Church

Tippecanoe Place (the Studebaker family mansion -- where I got married almost a year ago )

Sunrise beside the St. Joseph River:

I tried to find the aurora this morning and never saw it. It's supposed to be better tonight but it's cloudy and snowing.
The images I took stack up pretty nicely anyway.

Very nice effect.

Thanks! I wondered how people got those trails with tails where it's not just a line. I stumbled across the (or at least one) answer by shooting from darkness toward dawn. It seems the changes in contrast between the stars and sky will produce this effect. Fun!

Midnight train. Of my few long exposures, this is the only one I like so far. Severely underexposed, but the raw file brightened up nicely.

Haven't had a chance to break out the 15 in a while. I was shooting the sunset with my DA21, and thought I'd give the 15 a turn before the sun fully set. Pretty satisfied with the results. Look at all that flare! (not).

Very nice shot! And you are right, the flare resistance of the DA15 is just marvellous. That must be the smc version?

The DA 15 is still controlling my mind...

I went out yesterday morning with K5 II and DA 15. It was actually a clear day, instead of the gray ones we've been dealing with (although it was still cold).

Beautiful! I love those rather muted colours. Only trouble is that these more low-key images are at a competitive disadvantage in today's world of second's-length attention spans.
