You know, I think you got it! Love the foreground detail and the sharp focus on the buildings.

Nicely done.

Thank you!! Also is my first time to use manual focus mental note, I should carry a stool with me, crouching in front of the tripod while fumbling with the settings and focus tends to hurt my legs

Mine arrived on Friday morning, but I haven't had much time with it over the weekend, but the first shot had that classic starburst to it. Hoping the base is closed tomorrow for a snow day and I can venture outside with it for a few hours.

A little starburst hunting from today. The transitional March scenery tends to look best in B&W.

Joe :Gratuitous Starburst/Sunburst! I'm surprised to see it here, and not in the Month of March photo competition

One from a few months ago that I've revisited - no starburst.

You all have such beautiful places nearby to shoot. <sigh>

From the Department of Mind Control, after the K3 arrived I went a bit lot overboard in the Marketplace in January and February. In the past when this happened I simply reversed all the trades, maybe lost a few dollars and all was as it should have been. This DA15 Limited may be the catalyst that finally ends what my wife calls compulsive hoarding of old film cameras and lenses. I don't think I can let it go.

It has this ability, to control your mind. One lens, to rule them all.

Got my snow day, just need something more interesting than grey cloud cover. Hopefully it clears off for a sunset this evening with the fresh snow.

Surely there are plenty of beautiful places around St Louis and the Mississippi to shoot. I don't really think of southern Indiana as that great, but it is where I live.

I think the DA 15 is pretty special. Hard to explain it by the numbers, but it is just so gratifying to go out and shoot with it and pull up photos in Lightroom afterward. If Pentax does release a full frame camera, I sure hope they can have a lens that is like this one -- 20-ishmm, sharp stopped down, and super flare resistant. Who really cares if it is slow as long as it has those features?

I know I'm spoiled for scenery but when I travel to places that look completely different I enjoy shooting those as well. This lens does very well in urban settings too!

A shot with the 15mm after a recent storm. With another one arriving here tomorrow, this image seems timely.

Very nice use of the close focusing abilities of the DA15. And the sometimes a little harsh bokeh looks good here too!
