A long exposure from yesterday with a B+W 10 stop ND. Then I used the Black Gold recipe in Color Efx Pro on it.
The formation in the background is a well-recognized local landmark called Dillon Pinnacles. This is not a typical view of them.

Very well done. I love the mood and colors.

Brilliant colors and yet another example how you can manage to use a 15mm as a portrait lens..... even if it is of a wax person.

A Closed Gate.

Framing, colors, contrast, all great on this one.

Unexpected travels to the north. The 15 was certainly handy. The more I use it stopped down and hyperfocal focussed, the better I like it:

I mentioned this on your Flickr site as well... perfect amount of blur on the water and great framing. Great use of the 15mm.

While I'm normally a fan of long exposure waterfalls, it wouldn't have done this one justice from this angle:

Well, maybe don't try this at home ... Got a new gadget, a Soligor C/D 7 Macro Tele-Converter 2x in P/KA, and for fun, tried it with the DA 15.

Here are some quick cloudy day test snaps at various magnifications. All SOOC and the 15 stops down to the max. of f/22. The last is indoor with the el-cheapo LED ring flash that I picked up at a swap.

Who said the 15 can't do "macro" ... ha! Maybe some more (better) experiments later ...

I've used the da 15 (and 40 and my A 50/1.7) on a Vivitar 2x macro tele converter with pretty good results.
Here's one from a few years ago with the DA15
