I think that spider would have appreciated a longer focal length!
How weird, I didn't even notice the little guy.

I'm travelling through the Philippines right now, and I'm so glad I bought a DA15 before I left. It's on my camera most of the time, and takes such nice photos (which I can't show yet, but I will once I get the chance). I had a DA12-24 before, but I can't imagine using it as much as I use the DA15 now, it would have been way too big. I don't think I'll ever sell this lens!

Thanks to the people in this thread who convinced me, through their great photo's, to buy a copy myself!

The DA15 is insanely priced in Europe... I shouldn't keep coming back to this thread, and yet here I am.
Couldn't someone post a really crappy shot with this lens evry now and then?

I love the close focus abilities of this lens.

It's even getting hard for me to view this thread now, because I can't go out shooting because I'm busy and crap, and you guys are blowing me away. But this shot just made me laugh out loud:

A perfect application of the 15 indoors to take a shot that just screams 'comical intensity', from the color on the wall, the wine guy, and the slightly bemused guy with hat. Great capture.
Thanks. The 15mm is becoming my favorite indoor lens. What caught my eye for this shot was the painting juxtaposed with the man. The angle I could get with the 15mm made the shot. (The K-x sure helped as well for the ISO 1600)

This serious, and very well-regarded winemaker patiently and passionately took us through his vineyards. I have the feeling, though, that his tasting room was designed by his wife, who is known to be a very "colorful" figure in the Spanish wine community.

Another interesting juxtaposition from that visit:

Same friend with a hat, same lens (wide open at ISO 6400) and a different, more animated winemaker in his moldy underground Bat-cave:

I don't think this lens can take a crappy shot, because even at f/4, it's great. Photogs can take a crappy shot with anything though, occasionally!

Most of my crappy shots (and there are literally thousands of them) hit the bit-bucket, so I don't have many to share.

The following hurts the brain a bit:

This one is just kinda boring:

This one didn't go where I wanted visually:

Here are two potentially good shots screwed up by the photog (although pretty saveable in PP)

.

And this one was an accidental snap

Nice stuff, Jay.

It does seem harder to take a crappy shot with this lens than most, but I've sent a few to the backup drive of no return.

The 15mm controls my vision of Antonio Gaudi.

Pushing its limits wide open ISO 3200 1/30 (better before reduction):

Strutting its stuff at its prime (Nice opened in larger size):

Guys, thanks for trying It doesn't seem to have helped as much as I hoped though.... I can still remember the awesome shots you and others posted earlier in the thread. Could it be that the 15mm Ltd is starting to control my mind?

Hello again everyone,

I haven't posted any shots lately, but I've been following the thread so maybe it's time I got back in the game... Will run-down buildings be alright?

(this last one was through a fence, I wish I could have gotten closer, but...)

PS- hopefully you won't find them too dark
