Aww Jay - don't feel bad! You being busy lets some of us try to catch up with your awesome post/photo count And thanks so much for your compliments on my train shot - very honored!

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I've got my DA15 up for sale (see signature), selling for a faster wide angle (I never shoulda sold my DA14). Go on, tell me I'm crazy :P I hate having to give up one lens in order to buy another - I gotta start making money at this photography biz so I can *keep* all the lenses I buy :P

But meanwhile (!), another in my pool series that I'm really loving:

I want this lens, but I'm not quite at the point where I NEED it. Not yet.

Heh. heh heh. Ha ha ha. HA HA HA. HAW, HAW, HAWWWW!

You're token resistance is quaint. All it is, though, is your waking mind trying to talk your Id out of something that it (read, you) really want, and will eventually have.

You'll probably go to bed tonight without the lens, and wake up the next morning with your laptop on your covers, running, browser on Amazon, or B&H, or Adorama, Abes, etc... And you'll realize you've ordered the lens in your sleep. Your Id will have won.

Avoid this pointless battle altogether. Order it now.
.
Curse you for being right!

I blame all of you here, but especially Jay.

Gah! Expected delivery date: July 26.

Ecat,

This is kinda sad, as I really looked forward to seeing your contributions to this thread each time I stopped in. I can understand the endless quest for one more stop, though. Good luck, and please post your WA shots in some other thread, maybe the DA Unlimited club?

Actually you haven't lost one Jay, the one that Ecat sold(or is selling) will just continue to control the mind of the next owner...Buyer beware!

And who knows, maybe he will buy another one later lol

Thanks Kytra, I kinda expected the comment about the angles, but... I can't help it []

Here are a couple more from the same holiday, no buildings this time, but trees (and...along the same 'twisted' lines):

Did anyone say DA15 has wonderful flare resistance? I guess they were right all along []

Nice, cezarL! I love those "looking up the tree" shots with this lens. Your first looks like it would be better as a portrait (vertical) oriented composition to my eye, but it's enjoyable as-is too!

Here are couple shots from last week. I'm not compeletely satisfied with the shoreline of the panorama. The panorama is made of 5 images with PSE6.

I love it how the DA15 works with dim indoor shots.

I am late to the party. Few shots from New Zealand Colomandel Walkway hiking trail. You see stretches of coast line and beaches along the hiking trail and the funny part is that my wife and I were the persons there the whole time alone in 4.5 hours of hiking. All were taken with Pentax K-x White and Pentax DA 15mm f/4.0 limited
