I speak of the SMC version, but there where no visible starbust in the scene.

A portrait - with background blur. f/4, ISO 5000.



This is taken with a cable release and the camera on a monopod, raised up to my daughter in the jungle gym.

This is such a fun thread, and I have had so much fun with this lens. Here's one from an early morning, before-work walk.

I don't consider myself much of a landscape or ultra wide angle shooter but I have to admit that the DA15 is a really fun lens that I do enjoy utilizing when appropriate.

Took the dog out for a ski today. I thought this end of the lake would be frozen but the Western 1/3 of this 17 Mile reservoir is still open water. So I couldn't go as far as I had planned because I couldn't travel on the ice.
Beautiful day, saw 5 bald eagles and other misc wildlife.
