Lovely light on those leaves, gazonk!

This is a sunset shot from Mount Washington in Pittsburgh, looking west down the Ohio River. DA 18-135 at 36mm.

I apologize, folks! I posted this in the wrong thread - not a DA 15 shot. Sorry!

Some DA15 shoots from Ronda, spain a lovely village on top of 2 hills and a massive bride to connect them ! Very lovely, very well known !

1 panorama made with Microsoft ICE, 3 HDR shoots with Oloneo HDR engine. You can click on picture to see them in bigger size.

Anyone own the HD 15mm and can post pics? My 15mm is going back to KEH because its blurry all over the right edge at infinity focus. I'm debating about buying a new HD version rather than asking KEH to fix the lens under warranty. I've heard the starbursts are a bit worse, but i generally shoot my starbursts at f8 or f11.

The last pictures I posted are with the HD version. the starburst are for sure less impressive. And even if it is a different sample (and version) from my previous one, it is still not that great on the upper right corner. It does in fact depend of the pictures if the right border is as a lesser distance than the focus point then it tend to be quite sharp. If on the right part of the subject is more distant, then it tend to be quite soft.

Honestly if you want something that is really sharp corner to corner, the DA15 is not the right candidate.

I realize that the DA 15 has field curvature, and it has a small imaging circle. I also realize that the edges will never be as sharp as the middle. Yet, this lens can't be this bad at f5 in the corner can it? This is a bottom right crop of the lens. Notice how sharp it is closer to the middle, then it turns to mush to the outside? K3, DA 15 at f5 ISO 100, 1/1000 Shutter Speed. I love the DA 15mm but i think I got a dud copy.
