I like this! Quite painterly.

Might be bringing a model to this location in the near future.

Thanks ABel and NZ_Ross,
Now we're back to the regularly scheduled December of rain, fog, high winds, and cold later this week.

My wife and I have different definitions of excess. My definition includes excess utility charges, she doesn't believe such a thing exists.

In case anyone is wondering I have the HD version.

I am quite jealous. We get Aurora Australis down here, but it is nothing like what you get for intensity and display. Photographing aurora up near the North Pole is on my bucket list, but it is a big undertaking from NZ.

Thanks! Well it's quite nice to just pop out from the house and take som nice shots, this is in a rather bright part of the city to, so would ofcource be better if I got out of town a bit, but with kids the time isn't always there.
The bright mode is really good for Aurora I think, even on days where there not that bright the accumulated shot becomes something really interesting..
