This was taken mainly for the starbursts as I had just got the lens earlier that day. Not really a scene to take a picture of but I saw lights and wanted to see what it'd do. I forgot to pull out the hood but had a proper 'WOW' moment when I saw the starbursts. Figured it wouldn't hurt to share one more pic of what this lens became famous for.

I like the green starbursts from the traffic light.

K-5 IIs f/8 1/5 sec ISO 3200

That's one of the places I go to photograph wader/shorebirds...
Took my 15ltd to make some nice landscapes after the sun was too low for birds...

. This is the widest lens I've owned so it'll be fun trying to find the best use for it.

A regular Friday afternoon ride with the bike. Had the K5 and 15mm in my bag and stopped by this small canal. The image the DA15mm delivers is somewhat special - corners are weak, but colors are just great. And I forgot how good the dynamic range of the K5 was....
