Wow, very nice.

This photo is a vertically stitched panorama taken in Stockholm, using a tripod because it's very dark in there. It's the first time I've ever used a tripod in a museum and was surprised that I had no problems at all.

The ship is the Vasa, which was rescued from the bottom of the sea after around 300 years as a wreck.

Very nice photo. I have been to the Vasa museum, and it is very dark in there. The other thing is how big the ship is, so getting it all in one image is a feat on its own.

Cheers

One of the most enjoyable lens to use. K-1 in crop mode.
If only Ricoh could release the same lens for FF...

Do you mean a 15mm full frame or a 22-23mm that gives the same field of view on full frame that the da15 gives?

15mm for FF.
When I shot in FF, I can only imagine the wideness how it would be in FF.

That will be wide indeed. Similar to 10mm on apsc.

I'm still thinking about it. It's zoom, and it's pricey.

Yeah, the 15-30 is over 36oz, the 15Ltd is just under 7. The 15-30 seems very un-Pentax (and I know it's a Tamron with Pentax/Ricoh tweaks) regarding size and weight.

I agree, but in modern photography there are many people who will outright dismiss a system that doesn't have fast zooms, regardless of how big and heavy they are.

Recently I did some tests using DA15 in K1 FF-mode and square crops. Simulation of the look through the viewfinder:

The white frame with rounded corners of the following picture shows the FF area. The brighter square in the middle is the maximum APS-C square crop (FoV ~ 55° width and height). The wider square is a 4700 x 4700 pixel crop. It nearly covers fullframe in height (FoV ~ 74°, real FF is ~ 77°). If we really get a square crop mode for K1 (firmware vs. 1.30) with marks in the viewfinder and in live view and hopefully in addition at raw level this would be really great for using APS-C lenses IMO.

View from a mountain peek in bavaria down to the Kochelsee.
