Very nice and good to see a wide-angle shot of this subject.
After seeing an article on DPR I came across an Android app called Zoetropic which animates still photos and decided to give it a try, starting with a rather complex shot from the DA 15mm on last year's trip to Japan.
I think it's a cool effect and while I'm not one to go for gimmicks, I do like this one. Time will tell how long it takes for me to get tired of it.
The photo needs something fluid (water, air/sky) to work and I think that it works best with human (or maybe animal) subjects because without human interest standing perfectly still it really could be a simple short video.
I'd like to hear opinions and ideas from others on this.
