The DA 15 is one of the lenses that Pentax says could have problems with the 1.4x HD DA so be careful. I have used mine before knowing this with it and did not end up with issues but there is a potential due to the design of the lens that it could contact the elements in the HD DA - if the 2x converter is similarly designed a similar caution may be needed.

Very nice exposure. I assume that is an SMC (version 1) lens.

Thanks. Yes on the green SMC version, my favorite nocturnal street lens!

@takis63: Thank you!
@UncleVanya: Thanks a ton for the warning. Will have a closer look and take some measurments before trying sth like this again.

No worries. The actual text is here: HD PENTAX-DA AF REAR CONVERTER 1.4X AW / Converter / AF Lens Adapter / K-mount Lenses / Lenses / Products | RICOH IMAGING

there are actually a few more lenses on the list than I recalled.

Stego-lo-Demetrodon with K5 & 15mm

Stego-lo-Demetrodon catches some morning sun.

Limestone sculpture (1989, William Galloway) in Bloomington's Bryan Park. In order to include both a sail-back (Dimetrodon) and a tail-loop with spikes (Stegosaurus) the artist hybridized the two species. So far no children have complained.

I finally bought a prime and decided the best choice would be the DA 15 as none of my zooms cover this focal length(and ebay makes it affordable)

here's a few of my first attempts with it yesterday
