The 15mm Limited controls my mind - club

? I'm confused about what you are saying. It is still as wide or wider depending on if you crop. Even cropped to exactly apsc it is the same angle of coverage as before. A full frame 22-23mm is going to be about the same angle of coverage (with more pixels) as the 15 and if you manually crop it could be slightly wider. Cropped will of course only give ~16mp images.

So I conducted a test for you today. Apologies for the image quality. I had to shoot at 22 f-stop on both cameras because my k-30 has aperture block failure.

I didn’t touch the photos at all in LR, so they’re bland, as RAW files are.

First pic is k-1

Second is k-30

Hard to tell because I had trouble screwing the camera onto the tripod in the same place. You could be right. I assumed that with in body vignette correction it would be less wide

Good to see actual shots. It might be slightly different but it is close. Thanks for doing this.

Is this too much bokeh? Or... just enough?

The Wave

Even in the harsh mid-day light you successfully visualized and captured a stunning image. I like your inclusion of the small figure of your friend, without which there would be almost no sense of scale. This is one of my favorite images on the forum.

With kind regards,

Can you un-bok it by one stop for comparison? Looks almost like the Spiratone 20/2.8 or maybe even a lil f1.2ish with all the light reflecting off the oof berries!

I heard somewhere to get closer and lower with wide angles to change the perspective and get the most out of the lens' characteristics. Seems like a lot of people just try to get more of the same subject into the field of view.

The water level at the storm water drain is low so you can walk around the installation at the moment.
