Thaw

Walked up the stream behind the house late this afternoon. Above freezing temps have the water carving paths through the ice.

Set the K-3 & DA15ltd on a rock with 2 sec. timer for this shot. Six seconds at f16.

Do you have a remote control for your shutter? I bought one of these but have never tried it.

Cheers,

I don't often go back to old RAW files to re-process, but I've switched from Lightroom 6 to RawTherapee in the last few years and decided to see if I could squeeze something extra out of some photos I took in 2016 in Yosemite. I think I was able to get better results using RT, at least in a few cases.

Cobblestone Bridge

Today in Acadia National Park.
I wasn't too happy when it started to rain, then I saw how deep the rock color was when wet. Happy now!

Tarra Bulga NP, Victoria. HD DA 15 + KP with pixel shift

Whether the PS made a difference I don't know. I'm not even sure whether DxO PL reads all four images or just one.
