My goodness thank you for the kind words!

Just curious what camera body was used for these photos? Very nice!
These were with the original K-3

Just got my 15mm limited last week! Been perusing this this thread to see what it can do! Awesome photos! I’ve got some learning to do! Thank you for the inspiration!
Which one did you get, the older green ring or newer red ring version. The green one is the SMC version and has straight aperture blades, making it known for its starburst. The red has curved blades if I'm not mistaken.

I found a mint condition HD version here on the Marketplace for a great price that I couldn’t pass up, box, papers, OEM caps, and pouch. Looks unused! I originally wanted the green ring for uniformity, but the price decided I am not that vain!

Interestingly, looking through the photos here, the distortion doesn’t seem to be as pronounced as it is made out to be. I suppose that’s due to proper framing and lens to subject distance? I have never used a lens this wide. Even my bridge camera is 24mm eq. Meanwhile I will keep studying!

I don't think you see a bunch of photos of architecture in this thread. Distortion is most pronounced at the edges and isn't a problem with landscape photos as much. If you take photos of buildings or even have people too close to the edge of an image they will look a little funny.

Here are a few architectural images taken with my K-3 and DA 15mm. I am quite happy with these.

Thank you for your kind comments. Despite what some people have said about this lens, it has never disappointed me. And that is all I care about.

(this shot with the K-01 -- sort of at the limits of my hand holding ability with the camera at 1/6 second exposure)
