Finally received this lens today. I have to say I'm thouroughly impressed with its built quality (no shit!) and design. I won't have time to actually go out and take photos with this for another few days but even just having it mounted on my K-7 feels and looks so beautiful. I'm feeling this one is going to come with a lot of fun. Here's hoping I can follow this up with some nice pictures

Btw, jsherman, once again, great photos right there!

I borrowed my good buddy Mark Dimo's water case. He's the Pentax Surf Photographer: PENTAXIAN.com | The Community for PENTAX Users

I've been shooting with my 40 Limited lately but slapped on the 15 for a few shots while out camping last weekend. I liked this one:

That shot IMO is one of the main ways this lens can shine - impromptu street shooting. In your environment there, I'll bet you'll be tempted to have it on you at all times. Nice, nice shot.

.
Definitely. It is a challenge to get close and get a composition, but it's very rewarding. I had not anticipated that when I bought the lens. Unfortunately my K10 is out for repair at the moment; I am really quite anxious to go out again seeing all these nice shots. Amazing Diego and Mattb's great too.

Just finished going through this entire thread!

You know, more than any expensive marketing gimmick, more than a photozone highly recommended seal or a 98% rating from a photomag review - it's forum threads like this, filled with fantastic images (!) that actually fuel LBA.
