Does anyone have an example of the perspective produced when focusing on an object with the minimum focus distance? Does it have that "in your face" feel?
This was pretty close to minimum focus distance...

The wide angle can accentuate that "in your face" feel when you get up close.

Amazing shots Jay! I especially like the one of the boys throwing in to the lake.

Messing about with some new black glass this weekend gone.

I'm looking forward to taking this lens on holiday at the end of the month!

Two images from a few days back with K7 and 15mm limited. Three exposures for the first image: sky, main scene, and lower shaded fall section.

Second is just a standard long exposure.

It's a long discussed topic. IQ isn't really a factor since both are outstanding. imo (and many others) it comes down to size/weight vs being able to go wider (and n addition longer). A secondary factor would be filter size. I have 49 and 52mm filters and I'm not interested in backpacking with square filters even if they are outstanding.

Mine should be in the mail. where is the dancing smilie?
