Thanks, the colour of the sky was pretty much straight out of the camera.
As for strategy, I just face the direction of the where the most lightnbing is happening, use ISO80, f/5.6 and 30 seconds exposures, and keep shooting.
Oh and a non-metal umbrella is a must

dbb, love 'em both. great distortion on the skyscrapers (color image), makes them look towering.

libr0, i love the color and texture of the water in your first shot. beautiful capture!
