Those are fun photographic moments and you used it (and the lens) to good advantage!

love them all J, but that last one is a stunner. I did not read the caption so I was trying to decide what it was exactly. Nice shot.

jsherman, as usual you blow me away. Those are truly unique shots of a very well known and well photographed landmark. I love all of them!

My one concern: you mean you actually went up in that thing??? I'm starting to get a sympathy claustrophobia attack just thinking about it.

And yes, we did - as you can see from these expressions, my little guys may have had second thoughts when the space-capsule-like tram car arrived to take us

...but the wonderment took over once we were up there.

Is this lens worth picking up if I have the Sigma 10-20? I'm gearing up for a trip to South East Asia soon, and am wondering if the DA15 would satisfy my wide angle needs while keeping the bulk down to a minimum.

I doubt I'd have been able to forget my surroundings. Kids are so resilient and in the "here and now"! Those are wonderful shots capturing the moment.

It';s a tough call but my answer is yes. The Sigma 10-20 is a very nice lens but it is a load--especially when traveling. I sold mine and bought the15.
