ok, I took a little time off from using my DA15 in order to learn to use the Sigma 10-20 for occasionally wider shots. Well, I'm back on board and have a newly gained appreciation for the DA15.

Well this thread has inspired me to "go wide" so I couldn't resist when a DA 15mm came up on our local classified site. I hope to be posting here soon...the bar has been set very high!

Very nice, Mike. I like how this is a small, intimate scene that connects subtly to the huge, violent ocean beyond.

So I finally was able to take this little gem out and shoot a bit. I'm used to the "Bigma" 10-20 and usually used that wider than 15. I LOVE the size of this lens. Heres a couple, nothing that really excites me, but I have to post a couple samples here.

wow, thanks so much for your kind words. this lens is always an inspiration when i pull it out of the bag. This spot, north of santa cruz, ca, is simply magical. I expect to return.
