Hi yiptwo , the first b&w image appears to have a trapezoidal reflection which may be light coming through from your optical viewfinder
yeah, i noticed that, so anything I can do to avoid this kind of reflections?

I don't know what happened with my last post I submitted, must have got lost inside the internet blackhole.

Yiptwo try covering your optical viewfinder with a cloth , this prevents light entering the finder and bouncing off the mirror onto the image sensor . Cheers khosrow

Btw those are magic shots , specially the first one which can easily be touched up .

I hope this helps.

It's a partial ghosted image of the 7 bladed aperture of the lens. Quite common when shooting towards the sun.
Does that artefact require light coming from the viewfinder? I always assumed it came from the lens....

you could be right Sandy. I just assumed that it was a Reflection of Light entering the Viewfinder and bouncing off the mirror and landing
on the sensor. your explanation seems more viable since yiptwo is shooting towards the sun.

Please post some of the Brecons - I was up in Hay-on-Wye a few years back, so the black mountains became a haunt for me.
I'm not that poster, but I happened to be in the area last Wednesday, with a rare bit of good weather. This is from the Skirrid, looking towards the Sugar Loaf, Abergavenny just out of sight to the left.

If you click, you should find a few more in the same set (including some of Lord Hereford's Knob actually in the Black Mountains), but none of them are up to the standards of this thread.

Thanks for the post!
Looks like very little has changed around Abergavenny (which is a good thing). Are there still a lot of paragliders flying off, and around Blaenavon?

Great shots yiptow! You certainly don't need to travel to find super image opportunities where you live.....
