Love Crater Lake....one of the most spectacular place around. Crystal blue water and mind boggingly big. Did you hike up Wizard Island?

Did some hammock camping a few weekends ago up near Mt. Adams in WA. Ended up around 6200 ft with some great views. You can see the blown top of Mt. St. Helens in the distance. Shooting into the sun, and I still got detail in the distant mountains...love the 15mm

I have had precious little time to spend with my camera or even poking around here on the forum. So after catching up with pages of stunning landscapes and clever street shots, here are a couple of up close and personal views of one of the last daisies in my messy garden. I do like how the busy 15 Ltd bokeh created a little magic.

Didn't have time. We did hike up the watchman and visited the fire lookout. Spectacular view from the top. Then we went to the pinnacles on the east side of the lake. Very surreal.

I forgot how easy it is to underexposure shots with the 10-stop ND filter at sunset. Ah well, I still like the images even though the Ferris Wheel one is grittily noisy in spots having pulled up the dark shadows:

really like the first one, but have a question: why did you use the 10-stop for these shots? do you really need it?
