Autumn is on its way though

The thing keeping my mind of the heat has been the experience of comparing these two lenses on my Pentax K5IIs:

I'll stick with the snow!

A few shots from a little diversion I took on my ride home from work.

Nice to see we share the same sense of humor. Many of those bicycle / backpacking shots would be called gently rolling hills by the same group.

Photo of the tram tower above a new pedestrian bridge. The tram connects lower waterfront facilities with the main OHSU campus 3300 feet away. Shot with the 15mm Ltd

Leek- awesome PoV and DA15mm bokeh too!

Niagara Falls at blue hour... with some really terrible mixed variety of lamp light screwing up the W/B for a colour shot.

Ah the ol' metal halide and sodium lamp combo. I am a bit OCD but that drives me nuts so B&W was the way to go. Great shot, I like the railing in the foreground as well.

I couldn't resist this one on a visit to the botanic gardens.

The bush looks fine, it's the blown sky through the fence I'm worried about.

I love how there's so much detail retained in the lawn even when shooting right into the sun. This at about f/5.6??? I'm guessing??
