Douglas DC-3 at the Historic Flight foundation in Everret, WA. This aircraft flew "The Hump" during WWII and then was a corporate aircraft for Johnson & Johnson in the post-war years. They've restored it to flying condition and it's quite something to see!

I'd be interested to know if anyone else thinks the same as I do . I got the 15mm few weeks ago and think its fantastic for taking crisp, well saturated , almost 3-d like pictures of cityscapes -close ups of bridges, buildings and so on, it makes taking these almost effortless. I'm not so keen on it for landscapes though. Here are some cityscapes taken down by the River Clyde in Glasgow
Very nice! I like it for landscapes but they have to be the right ones. It doesn't work well for a very straight ahead landscape shot but with some foreground interest or a nice sky it can work it's magic pretty well.
Vertical landscapes with foreground interest can work really well!

I use my DA15 for pretty much everything. I really like it for waterfalls, in forests and cityscapes. It can work for landscapes but you need to be careful not to put to much empty space in the photo.

Great set

"Sunrise on Varadero Beach" is in terms of composition the strongest picture! A few inches to the left would have brought the umbrella in the perfect spot.... That vertical "line" disturbes a bit. Very pleasing toning - congrats to those pictures

I don't post much in here so figured I'd just go right ahead and blast it with some from WPD (Saturday).. First we were down in L.A. at the Union Station (with the Pentax SoCal Meetup group) where I experimented quite a bit with hand-held stitching (gotta love Hugin):

(There are a couple Pentaxians in this one)

Later that day we went to the Santa Monica Pier where it was time for some long exposures...

This one was stabilized precariously atop a parking meter It was pretty cold and you can see me hunching in my hood next to my daughter.

I bought myself a 15 for my birthday (Late December), and it has been my daily challenge lens in February. I've had a hard time getting used to it, and I'm frustrated by it, but then I get shots like these:

Looks like you're getting the hang of it!
That first one is especially cool.
