Thanks.

Yes, a couple of the shots were in the morning when it was pretty misty/foggy. However summer time here, it just gets really humid -- the haze just really shows up in photos.

I must admit abieleck's photos make me miss roaming around the mountains as well as the deserts
I do love the Pac NW....but there are some of those rainy winter days I would trade for aqua blue waters and beach chairs

Nice set of photos! Great colors and interesting cloud cover.

Thanks! Yep it is different here and has its own unique characteristics but the flatness of it all is what takes the most getting used to. Good thing I like cloud formations as much as I like mountains and deserts

Yeah, I come from the flat but lake filled lands of MN. Most popular place to ski/snowboard is Buck Hill....keyword "hill" I love the diverse landscape and dramatic views of the NW, they never get old.

Here is another one from my trip out to Eastern WA with the 15mm. The clouds didn't play along the whole trip, but for this photo I think they added a lot to the image.....not only in the sky, but also the varying light/shadows cast on the green hills.

Yep, same area....this one was just west of Pullman WA. I hope to get out there again sooner than later....harvest season and winter would produce completely different images.

It took me about 8 months to get used to that lens. I was even going to sell it because could not "think" in the focal length.

Now I finnaly have something I think worth sharing

Here's a diverse group of shots for ya! I need to get out more with my 15, but work and wedding planning is taking all my free time.
