Cycled out in the early hours, but when I got to the spot, it began to rain.
If anyone is wondering, the flare spots come from water droplets and I left the filter on (no fault of the DA15 )

Two from Horseshoe Canyon, AB last weekend. My first taste of the AB badlands.
Didn't get to Drumheller due to the floods.
Interesting looking location...the second photo is particularly nice.

I took the family out on an after dinner drive last night for some wildflower viewing. They are great this year.
K-5 & DA15 5exp HDR

Edit to add: this was the background for the Channel 2 Weather this morning

Howdy fellow 15mm's! It's been a while since I've posted on here and I've had my 15 for about a year now. It's easily my favorite lens and is on my K-5 99% of the time. With that being said the 15 does come with some heartache (at least my copy). Does anybody else have issues with extreme softness in the corners and even the edges on large landscape shots? I also have issues with a lot of CA, albeit on very high dynamic scenes which I know are an issue with pretty much any lens. I guess my question is is there anything I can do to help mitigate the softness? I used to focus 1/3rd into the scene, but the top corners were really soft, so now I center focus. I typically shot at f/8-f/11...have any other users found another aperture more useful for sharper dof on landscapes? Any info/help would be greatly appreciated! Here's 2 examples...

This image at 100% shows the mountain range in the top left corner is very soft! (Or perhaps I'm expecting too much?)

At 100% the tree's and greenery on the edge's are quite soft!
I don't think the DA 15 is for pixel peepers. Mine feels soft -- certainly below f8, but it just shines in the right situations. At the same time, my DA * 16-50 is quite a bit sharper at f4.

Same here but I feel it`s plenty sharp for a wide angle. I use it mainly as a landscape/long exposure lens, so most of the time it is stopped down to F8 or beyond.

And while posting here, I should contribute to the tread as well

I agree for the horizontal borders but in the center, I don't think there's many lens as sharp as the DA 15mm even at f/4. That's maybe why the borders disappoint. But in many situations it's not a big deal.

Beautiful photo.

I wouldn't disagree that the center is sharp at f4, but since this is mainly a landscape lens for me, I really want decent border sharpness as well. Maybe some of the issue has to do with field curvature as well. Not sure, but I don't shoot much at f4 with it anyway...

I'm 99% a landscape shooter as well and I would agree the center is really great, but the edges and corners are quite soft...even stopped down. I still love the lens, but it has it's limitations for sure.
