Ugh, this is not good...not good at all.

I've been trying not to think about this lens ever since I stumbled across this thread last week. As each day passes, however, I'm thinking less about my daily life and pining for--nay, lusting--after this lens. I was originally going to rent one for my vacation week in September, and now I'm wondering if I can make it to the weekend without buying one outright. Damn you and your photos, OP! ::shakes fist::

A few perspective variations using the 15mm ltd from a morning walk this past weekend, it was the second time we've been there and still just as nice as the first. The Bok Tower of Bok Tower Gardens has a height of 62m and houses a 60 bell carillion that plays every half hour.

Chips!
You look like you are having fun "out west" there Matt - enjoyed your earlier shots of Freemantle as well.

Reallly like this. The 15mm is better than anyone would expect for people shots.

Quite the camera heaven.
This area of Shinjuku is littered with electronic and camera stores.

I held on to my Sigma 10-20 for a while thinking that 'what if its not wide enough?'
But as I used the DA15 as my only UWA more, I got that confidence that I did not miss a thing.
Framed the shot wrt what the DA15mm could give and did a pano if I really needed it.
And when I needed a pano, I needed a pano, even if I had a 10-20 it would still need it.
In fact, often I did not like the perspective distortion at 10mm.
Things seem too distant.

Nice shots, and nice to see the Borough market, which was a favorite of mine during the four months I lived in London.

Really liked shot #2. I'm still holding on to my Sigma, which is a terrific lens, but the fact that it weighs at least three times as much as the DA 15 and is at least twice its size means that it's the 15 mm I take with me.
