Just got back from a weekend with some friends, this is by far my favourite shot of the trip. I left the horizon centered on the boat, rather than the actual horizon

A couple of pics from my recent trip to Germany and Austria. More will follow soon.Still havent found time to go through all the raw files (900 of them). Took the risk of adding some effects either with Niks collection or Topaz labs to some of the photos, so if any of them dont work please let me know.

I love the images here and after reading the intro, I had to get a 15mm Limited to call my own. Silver to match the silver K-3. This past Saturday I was camping in the Adirondacks and found a clearing in the woods to capture the Milky Way as best I could. I left my tripod at home so just set it on my chair, used the timer to allow time for the vibrations to dampen and captured a few 25 and 30 second exposures at up to ISO 3200. I think with some work I could have dialed it in a little better (for example, I chickened out and used f6.3 wondering if f/4 would be sharp enough. Anyways, here is the result, the first image pretty well captures what the human eye can see and the second image is the same as the first but the exposure is punched up +5EV in post processing. I'm pretty pleased with the result since it is only a single image exposure.

Thanks. Not my car but it reminded me of a family friend from my childhood. He loved those Riverias and bought several over the years. He'd take my brother and me out for ice cream in them. Fond memories!

The DA15 was just wide enough for a complete rainbow yesterday:

The main street in the small town of Lowell, Arizona (actually a district of Bisbee) seems to attract classic cars from time to time. I took this pic with the 15mm Ltd on the K-3 this weekend. I call it "The class of '57" - as it is a very nice 1957 Cadillac.

While your photos are really nice... Your signature really waste it for me ... I'am sorry.

One of these years, I would like to go to Turkey again. Beautiful country!
