Thanks guys, I thought the same and processed it to bring out that look even more. I love it when the snow sticks like that! It all fell off by 10am.

My wife texted me this afternoon asking if I'd seen the cool clouds. I hadn't, but with that reminder and a look for myself I managed to slip out a few minutes early from work to ride to this nearby pond.

Thanks! It was 1/100, f/8, ISO 800. I didn't have time to get a tripod so it was handheld using live view to compose the low shot without getting (too) wet.

wow, interesting, the very nice sky streaks made me think it was a much longer exposure. I would have never guessed this was handheld.

Yeah, the clouds looked like a long exposure on their own. The water would have been smoother if I had exposed longer but it was also kind of gusty so it may have suffered from shake if I'd gone that route.
I was on my bike riding home from work and didn't bring a tripod and didn't have time to get one before sunset.

An HDR cityscape into the sun

Well the sun was behind clouds so no sunburst chance.
