Why - you are a natural with it.

That's very nice of you to say and I appreciate that. I have mostly been focusing on portrait work as of late and have had less time for landscape shots. I also admit to being a little in love with the 77 at the moment with the 31 being the only other lens that can occasionally pull me away. Of course being around pretty models is not so bad either.

There is that... but your da 15 shots are superb, and I would love to see more.

Did I ever say "I love trees"?

P.s. First time I decided to screw off the UV filter from the lens (HD DA15). I'm not sure if this had some implications on IQ. But I like the results very much.

I would like to say "thank you" to all the contributors to this thread (and those who have also posted 15mm images in the K-3 thread) because I have been following this thread for a while and it has started to control my mind to the point where today I bought an SMC version of this wonderful lens. A good Pentaxian friend had told me that I should own at least one "Limited" lens in my lifetime. And now I do.

Give me a little time to get used to it and I will post when I get something I consider worth posting.

Oh dear...

Well, I'm sure that you will enjoy it regardless of how you came to desire it.

A few more from Granada, spain. The alhambra palaces. Prior to the reconquista, spain was dominated by muslims, some regions for more than seven centuries. As you can see, theses guys had quite some great taste !

It all finished in 1492 though when Los Reyes Catolicos put an end to this and conquered Granada.

My first serious test of the new DA 15mm Limited. Only one shot had the type of subject matter that pleased me.

This is the Long Jetty on Tuggerah Lake in the suburb of Long Jetty. K-3, f11, 1/320, ISO 100.
