Nothing special about these pictures, but I thought the difference in perspective was interesting. I wanted the pole with street name on the far left in all shots and to fill the frame with the mural as much as possible. The reason the camera isn't positioned straight out from the centre of the mural is that the building looked too two-dimensional, whether it was at 15mm or 135mm.

With the DA 15:

With the DA 55-300 @ 135mm:

This 15mm/f4 is nuts. It easily walks over (stomps if you will) the 16-50DA* IQ. I have adored this lens more than I thought I would. Also its MFD (minimum focusing distance) amazes me for the wide angle it offers (your wall clock shot). This is a serious piece of glass. But it's tiny size gives you that "meh, not much" feeling. But this is a classic ex that bigger is not always better.

Hello.
Has anybody tested the DA 15mm limited on a Sony A7? I know that this is not a FF lens, but I would like to know how much crop is needed in order to avoid corner darkening. Is it a X1.5 crop? a X1.3 crop?

The problem is not just corner darkening but corner softness. The DA 15 is soft in the corners until at least f/8 so I really can't imagine it being of an real use on FF.

I guess you are quite right. I am asking this as long as I have seen somewhere that the 21 limited can deliver some 25mm in FF under a X1.3 crop. I would love to know if the 15 limited could act as a 20mm, for instance, in a FF system. I presume it's not possible at all.
