I took this literally the first time I used the HD DA15, I bought it for a proper photography trip down in Connemara in the west of Ireland, been going there my whole life, always took photos but this time with good gear at last. Driving down I saw this scene and jumped out of the car at Killary Fyord, manual exposure f8 with 1/500sec.

Edit: This was essentially the out of camera version, I did PP several versions with raised shadows so you could read the engravings on the graves. A monochrome version was also much liked when I posted that several years ago.

Another from the west coast of Ireland, the photographic paradise of Connemara, County Galway, sunset at Glassillaun beach. I 'electrified' this one a bit in Color Efex but the untouched RAW isn't far off it.

I'd love to get back down there, about 230 miles from my home, it is a dark sky area too 😀

Field of Tea (DA 15 limited)

(This is a bit unusual for the US as most tea is grown elsewhere, but there is one place that grows tea just south of Charleston, SC).

Thanks for posting this shot of tea farming in the United States. I was real surprised to learn of this tea production in the U.S. because most of the production I have seen in the major tea-producing nations of Sri Lanka, India, and China is by tea plantations in high mountain areas. Low land tea is stronger without the delicate flavor nuances seemingly preferred by tea lovers. What I found in reading up on the South Carolina estate was quite interesting. They have carved out a unique marketing area by using their low-land tea to create the Bigelow brand of flavored teas. Of course, they may well use mountain-grown imported teas for some of their flavors, no way to know. In any event, I admire their specialty approach to tea growing and marketing here in the U.S.A. I will make a point of looking for the Bigelow brand in the supermarket on my next shopping trip.
